Effective October 1, 2017 electronic claims (837s) that contain a duplicate diagnosis code (ICD-10-CM) will be rejected. The claim rejection will be noted on your electronic claim acknowledgement (277CA) from Administrative Services of Kansas (ASK).

Please note that if you submit an electronic claim with a duplicate diagnosis code between now and September 30, 2017, you will receive a warning message on your 277CA.
