Blue KC's 75th Anniversary Celebration: The Main Event hits Main Street on Saturday, October 12; Event is free and open to the public

"The Biggest Loser" celebrity trainer Dolvett Quince promises to get people moving at KC's Biggest Health and Wellness Celebration

October 3, 2013 (Kansas City, Mo.)—As a company focused on doing its part to make Kansas City a healthy community, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) invites residents to celebrate its 75th anniversary at The Main Event on Saturday, October 12, from 1 to 5 p.m. on Main Street between 20th and Pershing. The Main Event, which is free and open to the public, is designed to get the whole family moving and will feature workouts with NBC's "The Biggest Loser" celebrity trainer Dolvett Quince, Zumbatomic, cooking demonstrations and kids' activities. There will also be special appearances by Sporting KC players, Sluggerrr, KC Wolf, Chiefs Cheerleaders and much more!

"We look forward to having Dolvett in town to inspire, motivate and help others understand that in order to have a healthier tomorrow we need to start making changes today," said David Gentile, president and chief executive officer at Blue KC.
