UMB Healthcare Services Selected by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City to Provide HSAs: August 2009

Kansas City, MO.—UMB Healthcare Services, a division of UMB Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: UMBF), announced today that they were selected by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) to provide Health Savings Accounts (HSA) to its customers.

Blue KC is now offering UMB's HSA as an integrated part of its BlueSaver® consumer-directed health plan. Members have the opportunity to enroll in the UMB HSA as part of the enrollment process in the BlueSaver® plan. Members will also be able to view their HSA account information through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City's member portal.
