January 29, 2013

On behalf of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City I extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Adele Coryell Hall. Adele was generous with her time and expertise and her leadership proved invaluable in securing funds and resources for a variety of organizations ensuring their viability and service to communities in need for years to come. She deeply cared about a broad range of organizations with a special interest in the needs of children. I had the privilege of serving on several committees and boards with Adele and no one could voice the passion for children – their health, education and well-being – more eloquently. She will be remembered as an advocate who helped us advance community and deeply cared about numerous Kansas City-based civic endeavors. We are indebted to Adele for her accomplishments, her service and her unwavering commitment to the well-being of others. Adele was a great friend and mentor to many and will be greatly missed. On behalf of the board and staff at Blue KC, we express our deepest sympathies to the community she loved. Adele's immeasurable contributions and good works will continue to be felt by many generations to come.
